Femme District is an exciting event organized by Downbeat District where ladies take over the DJ booth, showcasing the best local talent across all genres of Electronic Dance Music (EDM). Everyone is welcome! This is an environment of inclusion. let music and love unite everyone 🫶

Our mission is to showcase female and nonbinary artists and give them opportunity to perform in more shows as a supporting artist or a headliner. Most of the DJs and dancers that performed at Femme District went on to perform at top venues in DC and beyond.

These events are designed to bring a South Beach/Miami/Euro vibe to the Washington D.C. area. Bring your bling and shine. The more lights the better! We love EDM and we can't get enough of it!
